BCIU LEARNING CENTERS

BCIU CHILD CARE CENTERS

The Berks County Intermediate Unit operates 15 Child Care classrooms throughout Berks County. The program offers childcare for children ranging in age from toddler to school-age with before and after school care. Locations vary; Toddler – Lower Alsace and Education Centre; Preschool – Lower Alsace and Schuylkill Valley; and School-Age – Daniel Boone, Exeter, Hamburg, Muhlenberg, and Reading.

BCIU EARLY INTERVENTION PRESCHOOL SPECIAL EDUCATION CENTERS

The Berks County Intermediate Unit operates 19 Early Intervention classrooms throughout Berks County in locations such as Boyertown, Hamburg, Lower Alsace, Muhlenberg, Oley Valley, Reading, Twin Valley, and Wyomissing.

BCIU HEAD START CENTERS

The Berks County Intermediate Unit operates a total of 40 Head Start classrooms at 17 sites throughout Berks County in locations such as Governor Mifflin, Hamburg, Lower Alsace, Muhlenberg, Oley Valley, Reading, Schuylkill Valley, and Wyomissing.

BCIU PRE-K COUNTS CENTERS

The Berks County Intermediate Unit operates 15 Pre-K Counts classrooms throughout Berks County in locations such as Brandywine Heights, Conrad Weiser, Daniel Boone, Exeter Township, Lower Alsace, Muhlenberg, Reading, and Twin Valley. BCIU has two partner sites located in Fleetwood and Kutztown.

BCIU TRANSPORTATION SERVICES

The BCIU provides transportation services for Antietam, Muhlenberg, Reading, and Tulpehocken Area school districts.
